Republic Services
North Middleton Township recently went through a formal bidding process. Republic Services was the low bidder and was awarded a 3-year contract beginning April 1, 2023.
Listed below is the pricing for the 3-year contract:
- April 1, 2023 thru March 31, 2024 $97.50 per quarter
- April 1, 2024 thru March 31, 2025 $104.31 per quarter
- April 1, 2025 thru March 31, 2026 $111.50 per quarter
Each resident will receive a 95-gallon trash cart and a 65-gallon recycling cart.

Holidays
Republic Services does not pick up trash on the following holidays:
- New Year's Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Routes will be pushed back by one day following a holiday. For example, if Christmas Day is on Tuesday and your normal service day is Tuesday, your trash will be picked up on Wednesday; if your normal pick up day is Wednesday it will be moved back to Thursday, etc.
